The Dreamers VX are coming April 9th!!!

The Dreamers VX collection will be released on April 9th!

As we’ve discussed previously, each holder of a 2D Dreamer will receive a 3D voxelized (VX) version of their Dreamer intended for use inside the Sandbox metaverse.

These VX Dreamers will be on the Ethereum mainnet and will be free to claim (aside from a small gas fee) starting on April 9th!

Here are answers to a couple common questions about the collection…

Q: Where can I use the Dreamers VX?

A: The intention is for the Dreamers VX to be used as an avatar within The Sandbox metaverse. Bitlectro Labs has been a Sandbox partner since summer (partner estate at -123,192) and the collection is designed for use in their universe. While we are continuing to bring monthly metvaverse events to Cryptovoxels, we intend once The Sandbox is live, that you’ll join us wearing your favorite Dreamer VX avatar in our Sandbox estate!

Q: What if my Dreamer is still frozen, can I still have a VX version?

A: Yes, you will receive a 3D voxelized version of the Dreamer in crytostasis. Here’s where it gets interesting; if you want to ensure that your cryostasis VX Dreamer retains its frozen status in VX form, the 2D Dreamer must also stay frozen. The frozen state of the VX Dreamer is controlled by the 2D Dreamer — so if you want to keep that VX Dreamer frozen, retain ownership of its 2D counterpart.

Q: Will there be any cost associated with claiming Dreamers VX?

A: The only cost will be the gas fee required to mint the Dreamer from the claim contract, otherwise the Dreamers VX are free.
